Together, with Molex product managers, I designed the MX150L IP-67 Mat Sealed (good up to 18 Amps max.) connector kit for outdoor sealed solutions to eliminate the need to purchase, handle and crimp individual wire seals to lower applied cost.

Key product features include all-in-one housings with pre-assembled mat-wire and connector seals, “audible” and “tactile” clicks on insertion for reliable mating and terminal loading, terminal extraction and insertion for labor cost savings.

I like the fact that the connectors, already set into housing seals color coded for wire gauge sizes as seen in both kits 76650-0032 and 76650-0152, have two different sizes: 22-18 AWG and 16-14 AWG. Both Dual Row kits have Circuit Voiding Keys (Dual Gender) for sealing the connectors, if one (or more) of the holes will not have a wire to it, but may have in the future. Field repairs can be easily performed with various tools such as a screwdriver, needle nose pliers and the provided extraction tool.

For those who have marine, on-engine automotive, off-road construction equipment, solar and other outdoor environment applications, look for your MX150L electrical connectors whether it’s for Panel Mount or Wire-to-Wire Free Hanging connector type situations. Automotive/transportation applications? try the Single Row MX150 76650-0186 (good up to 22 Amps max.) and Direct-to-Engine Distributor 76650-0197 connector kits.

You'll find these and other Waldom Electronics kits at The site is easy to use and navigate, allowing you to select kits by the following: Connector Type, Solution, Connector Family, Application, Industry, and Most-Popular. Once your kit is selected, a kit details page will be shown displaying the description, bill of materials, and links to related kits or products.

To order additional MX150L connector kits, access the kit details page of the specific kit, simply select the green “Check Inventory”, enter the kit part number, select “Search” which will then display the name of the authorized distributor(s), quantity on hand, current stock, etc.

These are just the types of kits engineers, technicians, schools, and home workshops can put to good use. Kits can only be purchased exclusively through the following Waldom Electronics Authorized Distributors: Allied Electronics, Arrow, Avent, Digikey, Future Electronics, Heilind, Master Distributors, Mouser, Newark Electronics, Online Components and TTI.
